Analytics Events
Independent Schools Council, November 2009
The Independent Schools Council arrange a yearly conference event to present new ideas to their sector. I was invited to present a section on ‘Better Web Design’ where I spoke about the need to understand the needs of your site visitors and to understand what you want to achieve from your site. Of course, true to form, I talked about making it quantifiable too.
Fresh Egg, September 2009
Fresh Egg put together a fantastic workshop called ‘Internet Marketing in a Recession’ last September 2009 at the Magic Circle HeadQuarters in London.
We had Social Media Experts, SEO Experts, Usability and User-Centred Design Experts as well as myself (Analytics & Conversion).
I presented with Jason Buck and Simon Nixon (UCD Experts). Their presentation focused on Planning, Designing and Testing a site around it’s users and mine focused on feeding through these finding back into the project post launch as a process of Continuous Improvement.
Please watch both presentations as Jason and Simon are loads of fun and present their topic with spirit!
If you really just want to see my part, fast forward the second presentation to 8mins 32secs. Enjoy!
